Linear Compressor
LG’s Linear Compressor technology makes its refrigerators become industry leaders in energy savings, noise levels, freshness and durability. While efficiently controlling cooling power, the Linear Compressor greatly reduces internal friction, helping LG's new 538-liter capacity side-by-side refrigerators achieve a European A++ rating for energy consumption, the first in the industry. Changing from a reciprocal to linear transmission system means the new compressor also offers further energy savings of up to 20 percent with no loss in cooling power. Better still, with fewer friction points (one instead of the four in a conventional compressor), the Linear Compressor works to significantly reduce noise levels, while also enhancing the fridge’s durability. And through even cooling with less fluctuation of temperatures, it keeps foods fresher for longer.

Inverter Direct Drive Motor
By eliminating the belt and pulley, LG’s state-of-the-art Inverter Direct Drive motor cuts back on moving parts to make its washing machines extremely durable. As a measure of confidence in this reliability, LG offers a 10-year warranty for its direct drive motors.

Without a separate brush and belt, machines fitted with an Inverter Direct Drive have fewer friction points, ensuring a quieter wash with lower vibration. In addition, the motor allows for a larger capacity within a standard 24-inch machine, meaning fewer washes and less time spent doing household chores. And with its Inverter control system and load detection, Inverter Direct Drive washing machines offer substantial energy savings, too.

LG Inverter Linear Compressor Technology is available on a number of LG side by side refrigerator models including the GR-B207BSJV (PhP74,995 srp), GR-P207BSJV (PhP119,995 srp), and GR-P267FSN (PhP136,995 srp). The new generation Inverter Direct Drive Technology and the 6 Motion Technology, on the other hand, is available on Spirit 11 Dual DD WF-D160V. LG Frontload Prime Dryer RC8011A1 and LG frontload washer models including the Prime Combo WD-1403D, Prime Washer WD-1203TD, and Prime Combo WD-1403AD5 use the Direct Drive Technology.
